I often get asked where Kate buys her earrings and what her favourite brands are. Kiki McDonough is definitely top of the list. At last count, the Duchess has worn 18 different pairs of earrings by the designer! I’d also say Annoushka. Kate’s worn her Annoushka Pearl Drop earrings to 60+ royal engagements. Her Monica Vinader Siren earrings have had 10+ wears (usually with a green outfit). She also owns multiple pieces from Patrick Mavros, Missoma, Asprey, Cassandra Goad and Accessorize.

Kate must find it difficult to put the lid on her jewellery box. I can only imagine that it's jam-packed full. Filled with heirlooms loaned from the Queen, sentimental items gifted by William, precious pieces that once belonged to the late Princess Diana and, of course, her own personal collection. By my best estimate, I'd say Kate must have worn approximately 100 different pairs during her time in the public eye.

When it comes to earrings, Kate has tried almost every style imaginable. Sparkling chandeliers? Check. Long beaded drops? Check. Colourful gemstones? Check. Diamond studs? Check? Pearls? Hoops? Leaves? Check. Check. Check. Pom-pom tassels? Yes, check!
For everyday wear, Kate will tend to opt for something pretty, fuss-free and elegant. A small colourful gemstone suspended from a hoop, for instance. But she isn't afraid to pull out the big guns if an event warrants it. She's happy to make a statement in rubies or grab headlines in an oversized hammered metal design.
