July 8th 2015—The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended Wimbledon to cheer on Britain’s Andy Murray in the men’s quarter-final. The couple sat in the Royal Box to watch Murray play against Canada’s Vasek Pospisil on Centre Court.
Usually, Kate wears white and cream to Wimbledon. However, she surprised us by wearing red to this match!
Kate wore the “Cayla Long Dress” in red from L.K. Bennett. The dress features a full skirt that falls below the knee, “artfully placed seams” and elbow-length sleeves.
L.K. Bennett call their red Cayla the “go-to dress for that special occasion…[it] is designed to flatter.”
The dress retailed for £250 (that’s approximately $385 USD).
The Duchess carried a familiar bag. It’s her Diane von Furstenberg Lytton snakeskin clutch bag in leopard print –

Today saw the return of a few familiar accessories.
Kate wore her Cartier “Ballon Bleu” watch (33cm size) – it should be familiar to fans by now, she has worn this watch constantly since Prince George was born.
Kate’s gold hoop earrings made a return too –
They are the “Lolita” earrings by Mirabelle.
The Duchess first debuted these earrings in January 2015, during an event held by The Fostering Network.
Kate paired the dress with her nude Jimmy Choo Gilbert heels. The shoes are made from kid leather and feature an almost-toe shape.
At times, Kate wore her Rayban Wayfarer folding classic sunglasses.
Kate’s hair is causing quite a stir on social media today – it appears she’s had her hair cut, with a long fringe (bangs) added –
