On July 10th 2019, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) attended a charity polo in Wokingham, Berkshire.
She took along her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Sister-in-law Meghan and baby Archie were also in attendance. Both ladies and their children watched on as their husbands competed in the polo match.
The polo game was held in honour of the late Leicester City Football Club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. In November 2018, William and Kate visited the club’s grounds to honour Mr Srivaddhanaprabha and three others who were killed in a helicopter crash nearby.
Kate’s outfit at the polo match:
Kate wore L.K. Bennett’s Madison dress in pink silk chiffon.
The dress features a relaxed silhouette with a mid-length skirt and floaty sleeves that hit above the elbow.
The Duchess also owns the dress in lilac (pictured above). She wore it to a private function at Berry Bros. & Rudd back in August 2015. You can see her wearing it in the short video below:
The dress is from an older season and no longer available to buy, unfortunately. If you’re looking for something similar, try these dresses from Aspiga and Boden instead (or check out the widget at the bottom of this page for more options!)
Kate debuted a new handbag at the polo match (well, it’s new to us at least. She might have been carrying it privately for months!) It’s the small-sized Mulberry Darley.
Mulberry sell the Darley style in different fabrics and colours. It looks like Kate is carrying the red berry croc print style. The leather bag features the company’s signature Postman’s Lock and comes with a gold detachable chain strap.
Kate also wore her Castañer Carina espadrilles. The shoes feature an 80mm wedged heel, a light brown suede front and matching suede ankle ties. The Duchess wore the wedges frequently over the summer.
Net-A-Porter sells the wedges in two different heel heights (80mm and 60mm), plus a range of different colours/fabrics.
Kate chose her gold Catherine Zoraida Fern Hoop earrings for the polo match. The 18ct gold earrings measure in at 22mm and retail for £150. They also come in silver. Shop them on the designer’s website, here.
Finally, Kate’s sunglasses are worth a mention too. They’re the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II style in ‘Classic Tortoise’ with brown polarized lenses.

This is a really nice silk dress, the colour is gorgeous. The Duchess looks lovely. A nice pair of flat strappy sandals would have looked great, but I know the Duchess likes her wedges, they look okay here anyway.

I agree strappy sandals would have worked well. She must love wearing wedges! I live in flat shoes!

One of my favourite recent looks! Casual, chic and I just LOVE the red crossbody bag. Definitely my style of bag!
