Kate Middleton owns Monica Vinader’s Siren Earrings in Green Onyx.
The Princess debuted the gold and green gemstone earrings during the 2016 Canada tour. She’s worn the earrings on 10 public engagements since, usually with a green outfit.
About the Monica Vinader Siren earrings:
Monica Vinader describes the Siren earrings as simple and sophisticated, “great for everyday wear”. Kate has proven how versatile they are—she’s worn them with everything from formal coat dresses to skinny jeans and a shirt.
The earrings feature an irregular shaped multifaceted Green Onyx gemstone set into 18ct Gold Plated Vermeil on Stirling Silver. The gemstone measures approximately 12mm x 10mm (0.47 x 0.4″).
Monica Vinader cites “sea-worn treasures and the glamour of southern Italy” as her inspiration for the Siren collection.
Monica Vinader is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and is committed to the ethical sourcing of products.
Where to buy Kate’s earrings:
The Siren earrings can be purchased from the designer’s official website, MonicaVinader.com. The company ships to most countries.

Monica Vinader Siren collection:
Monica Vinader sells several different style in her Siren collection, including other types of earring, rings, necklaces and bracelets.
If you love the Siren wire Earrings but not the green onyx stone, you’ll be pleased to learn you can buy the design with other coloured gemstones too. We wonder if Kate will ever wear them in another colour (we know she regularly buys her favourite earrings in multiple colours!)
Does Kate Middleton wear other Monica Vinader jewellery?
Yes, Kate has worn four pieces of Monica Vinader jewellery during her time as a working royal. In addition to the Siren earrings, Kate’s added the designer’s Nura Baroque Pearl Necklace to her collection this year.
She’s also chose two pieces from the Riva collection (the Diamond Cluster Earrings and Bib Necklace) for the Wildlife Photographer of the Years Awards in 2014. At the time, Monica Vinader told the Daily Mail that her PR team loaned the diamonds to Kate:
I knew nothing about it as my press team had lent them to her people and they’d told them to tell no one else in the company.

The designer found out about the loan the next day after her friend spotted Kate wearing the jewellery on the front of a newspaper:
I was on holiday in Florence, sitting outside a café. The friend I was with suddenly looked over at a man reading a newspaper and said, “Isn’t that the Duchess of Cambridge wearing your earrings on the front page?” It was the most surreal moment – I was thrilled.
It doesn’t get any bigger than her.
