On July 7th 2011, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Calgary, for their final day on the Canadian leg of the Royal Tour.
The Royal duo spent the evening touring the University of Calgary Ward of the 21st Century Research and Innovation Centre (W21C) and then they were guests of honor at the Government of Canada Reception at the BMO Centre.
Kate’s outfit:
For the evening’s events in Calgary, Kate wore beautiful knee length primrose yellow dress, made from silk crepe and designed by Jenny Packham. You might remember that Kate wore a pink floor-length dress by the same designer to the Ark Gala in June 2011.
Here you can see a similar Jenny Packham dress in rose/pink:
Kate paired the yellow dress with her nude L.K. Bennett pumps, her L.K. Bennett Natalie Straw Clutch and her Kiki McDonough Citrine Earrings.
The L.K. Bennett pumps and clutch bag were first debuted at the Epsom Derby. (Above, we show them on the 2012 tour, in Malaysia.)

Thank you Carly for this great post! I love this dress and the yellow colour on her! I’m dissapointed she didn’t put the white cowboy hat on though 😉

Poor William! I am kidding, bu seriously, did they spent so much money on Catherine’s clothes that there was no more $$ to buy him some new threads? That’s the only thing I can think of because he wore what looks like the same blue suit every single day while in Canada (or khakis and a blue shirt)!
Love your web site!
