On 9th June 2011, William and Kate attended their first event as a married couple. They were guests of honour at the 10th-anniversary ARK Gala.
Ark is an international charity that transforms children’s lives. Tickets cost £10,000 and the gala is held in an elaborate marquee on Perks’ Fields behind Kensington Palace. The annual gala dinner has raised over £160 million for the Ark charity since 2002.

The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Annual Ark Charity Gala tonight wearing an ethereal gown by Jenny Packham. The Duchess selected the pearlescent rose sequin gown with Swarovski crystal from the SS11 catwalk collection.
