Kate’s outfit:
Kate debuted a new brown coat by London-based designer, Roksanda. It’s the Denton coat and it dates back to 2016.
The coat features a high collar neckline, lightly padded shoulders, a double-breasted front and slit pockets. It’s lined with silk and finished with three copper-coloured embellishments.
Kate paired the coat with a navy blue hat by Hicks & Brown. It’s the company’s ‘Suffolk’ wool felt fedora.
Kate’s sapphire and diamond earrings added subtle sparkle to outfit. They’re believed to be refashioned from a pair of owned by Princess Diana:
The heavy studs – that match Princess Diana’s cluster engagement ring – were among her most treasured jewels and were seen on her at numerous events during the 1980s and 90s. They were remodelled for Kate into drop earrings.
A courtier said: “Now they’re married, William wanted her to have some of his mother’s favourite pieces.”
The Mirror
Kate brought back a couple of items we haven’t seen for a few years. First, the Jaeger ‘Kate’ quilted bag in navy blue.
Gloves: Look like the Cornelia James Imogen style in brown.
