Photographers snapped the Duchess emerging from the Lululemon shop on King’s Road, carrying one of their reusable shopping bags (though it is unknown exactly what she purchased during her visit).
Lululemon is a popular Canadian sportswear brand with a host of famous fans. Business Insider describe the brand as having a “cult-like customer following”. Kate’s sister Pippa regularly wears pieces from the brand too.
The company sells a range of athletic clothing, namely for yoga, running and the gym. Heres a sample of their most popular pieces:
Kate’s outfit:
In the photo, the Duchess is wearing a leather and suede gilet by Alice Temperely. Sadly, this piece is from a previous season, so is no longer available for purchase.
According to Lyst.com, the gilet retailed at Selfridges for £1,250.
Those familiar with the Duchess will recognise that she’s wearing either the Temperley London Honeycomb swear or tunic under her gilet.
We know that Kate has worn the honeycomb style in both ivory and black. However, it’s hard to know for sure whether Kate owns the brand’s tunics or sweaters (its thought she might even have one of each). Below: Temperley London Honeycomb tunics in ink, bordeaux and ivory.
Kate’s wearing cropped yoga pants (or leggings) with a white stripe down one side (as visible in these photos.) It’s thought that Kate is wearing GAP’s Fit Gfast leggings from2008. (There are photographs of Kate from the same year cycling, wearing the leggings. ) You can still buy similar at GAP – click here.
We can see from the photo that the Duchess is wearing a pair of pink and white ASICS GEL – Oberon 8 trainers.
If you’re in the UK, British company Start Fitness still stocks the shoe in one or two sizes.
Otherwise, these Asics Gel-Oberon 9 sneakers in pink and baby blue might appeal to you.They cost £38.95 / $56.48 / 55,31 € from SportsShoes.com –
The Asics Gel-Contend 3 is pretty similar if you’re looking for a white running shoe with the same distinctive pink sole as Kate’s. These retail on Amazon.com for $47.45.
There’s also the Asucs Gel-Acclaim in white and pink, available from: Zappos for $60 USD, OnlineShoes.com $59.95 USD and Amazon from $23.09
Kate’s handbag will be familiar to regular readers; it’s her Tod’s D-Styling bag. Kate owns the medium-sized bowler bag in grey leather. The Duchess has carried this bag for a number of years now. Sadly, it’s no longer available for purchase.
Finally, Kate finished her casual look with a pair of Annouskha baroque pearl drop earrings, suspended from Kiki McDonough hooks.
