Thursday, 29th April 2021—William and Kate have shared an ADORABLE new family video to celebrate their ten year anniversary and thank fans for sending “kind messages”.
Filmmaker Will Warr captured the video footage, which shows the Duke and Duchess with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
On Instagram, the filmmaker wished the couple a “very happy 10th wedding anniversary”. He said that it was a “true privilege to capture precious moments with the Duke and Duchess at home with their children.”
The 39-second video, shared to the couple’s official social media accounts, accompanied a personally authored message from William and Kate, signed off with their initials:
Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family.

The release of the video surprised fans. Kensington Palace had shared two new photos (below) to mark the couple’s tenth wedding anniversary the evening before. We presumed they’d release a third photo from the series on the wedding anniversary itself—or perhaps an unseen wedding photo. The video was beautiful and such a treat to see William and Kate with their lovely family.
The video appears to have been filmed on the same day William, Kate and the children posed for their 2020 Christmas card photo at Anmer Hall. And the same day that Matt Porteus took the photo of Kate used in the Hold Still photobook. As you can see, everybody is wearing the same outfits:

Kate’s red sweater remains a mystery, it has never been identified. Underneath, we know she’s wearing her Sézane Marguerite blouse.
The Duchess has worn the blouse a handful of times since its debut in 2019. It features a ruffled pie-crust collar and a distinctive ladder-stitch detail that runs down the front of the blouse and along the cuffs. Sadly, the piece is now out of stock.
Kate’s olive-coloured jacket is from Irish brand Dubarry. It’s the Friel Utility style. The piece is described as an “elegant country sports jacket”. It features a faux suede trim and body seaming detail for an excellent shape and fit. The jacket is has GORE-TEX technology rendering it waterproof, windproof and breathable. The lightweight fill offers warmth without weight. The jacket is on clearance for £199 at Durbarry.com, but only available in sizes 44 and 46.
The Duchess first wore the olive coloured country jacket during the couple’s official visit to Ireland in March 2020.
Kate is wearing her Daniella Draper Gold Mini Cupid Hoop Earrings. (Although the gold earrings appear blurry in this video, we were able to ID them from the photo released to promote the Hold Still book earlier this year, in which Kate is wearing the same outfit, also pictured below.)
The pretty earrings retail for £200. The designer calls them a “definite must-have”. They’re made in the UK using 100% recycled 9ct gold. Sometimes Kate wears the irregularly-shaped hoops with shamrock charms, other times she wears them alone.
In the family video, Kate donned a new hat by Hicks & Brown. It’s their Suffolk Fedora in Olive Green. (Thank you to UFO No More for the ID).
The hat is made from 100% wool felt and is carefully hand finished with a classic pheasant feather wrap. It comes in five different sizes and a total of five colour options. It retails for £95.
Kate owns the hat in blue too. You may recall that she first wore the piece in January 2020. She was photographed wearing the hat before visiting the St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate.
On her feet, Kate opted for a pair of walking boots. I assume she’s wearing her Berghaus Supalite II Goretex boots. She’s worn the brown shoes a handful of times since 2019.
The company describe the boots as “light and comfortable”. They feature GORE-TEX performance technology and memory foam for all-day comfort. Whatever the situation, Kate is admirable, a style and irreproachable clothing tastes.
