Day 8: Will and Kate Touch Down in Calgary in Final Evening of the Royal Tour in Canada
Another big THANK YOU to Dana for writing this post for me yesterday, as it was after midnight here in the UK. I’ve now updated the post with photographs from my image library and more detail where needed!

On a windy tarmac at Calgary Airport, The Duke and Duchess arrived in Calgary for the final evening on their Canadian tour. The Duke and Duchess spent the evening touring the University of Calgary Ward of the 21st Century Research and Innovation Centre (W21C) and then they were guests of honor at the Government of Canada Reception at the BMO Centre.
Kate’s outfit:
For tonight’s arrival in Calgary, Kate is wearing a beautiful knee length yellow dress, her nude L.K. Bennett Pumps which have made several appearances during the tour, her L.K. Bennett Straw Clutch and her Kiki Citrine Earrings. The L.K. Bennett pumps and clutch bag were debuted together at Epsom.
Kate’s dress:
Kate’s primrose yellow dress is made from silk crepe and designed by Jenny Packham. Kate wore a pink floor-length dress by the same designer to the Ark Gala last month.

Thank you Carly for this great post! I love this dress and the yellow colour on her! I’m dissapointed she didn’t put the white cowboy hat on though
Poor William! I am kidding, bu seriously, did they spent so much money on Catherine’s clothes that there was no more $$ to buy him some new threads? That’s the only thing I can think of because he wore what looks like the same blue suit every single day while in Canada (or khakis and a blue shirt)!
