On the 3rd July 2017, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) attended Wimbledon.
It was her first official visit as Royal Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
During the visit, Kate met with staff, including stewards, medical officers, safety team members and ball boys and girls.
After, Kate took her seat in the Royal Box to watch the tennis.
She watched Andy Murray play Alexander Bublik on the Centre Court. It was the first Centre Court match of The Championships.
Kate chose a black and white polka dot dress by Dolce and Gabbana. It’s a fit and flare dress with a softly pleated skirt and three-quarter length sleeves.
It appears to have been custom-made for Kate, though a very similar design is available for purchase at Matches Fashion (pictured below).
The two dresses appear identical except for the neckline. Kate’s dress has a square neckline while the dress at Matches Fashion has a scoop neckline.
Kate paired the dress with a pair of black suede block heel sandals by Office. The sandals feature a nubuck upper and a buckle fastening around the ankle. They have a 9.1cm heel.
The shoes are still available to buy from Office for £62. (International delivery is available to some overseas locations, Office confirm).
Kate carried her Victoria Beckham Quincy bag to the tennis.
We first saw Kate carry it to Wimbledon in 2016.
The white leather bag features two handles and a pale-gold logo-embossed label. The white version is no longer available for purchase, but you can still buy the black version from Net-A-Porter.com.
Kate wore her Oscar de la Renta earrings. The earrings are handcrafted in America from gold plated pewter and Swarovski crystal faux pearls.Oscar de la Renta explains the earrings are sea-inspired and calls them “show-stopping”.
As you may recall, Kate’s worn the earrings frequently since October 2016.
Psst… Looking for a similar pair of earrings? There’s a pair on ETSY for $25 USD / £19.78 GBP.
