September 18th 2012 – Having previously spent the night relaxing on a private island, William and Kate flew back to Honiara, Solomon Islands.
The couple flew straight out of the airport to the final destination on the tour, Tuvalu. The couple were visiting the country as part of the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Tour.
After arriving in the country, William and Kate were carried on a throned carriage by men in pandanus leaf skirts.
They were also given floral crowns to wear upon their welcome to the country.
Kate’s outfit:
The Palace confirmed Kate’s dress is by a ‘private dressmaker’. Unfortunately, no further details are known about the designer. The dress features Broderie Anglaise detailing, a boat neckline, elbow-length sleeves that are slightly fluted and a waist belt.
The Duchess paired the light yellow dress with her Stuart Weitzman Minx wedges and her Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings.
