Sunday, 8th of January 2017—The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) attended the Sunday service at the Mary Magdalene church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The couple joined other members of the Royal Family, including the Queen.
Kate’s outfit:
Sadly, there are only a handful of good photographs from the royals’ walk to the church, so it’s difficult to get a clear look at Kate’s outfit. We do know that she’s wearing her long green belted coat from Sportmax.
She first wore the coat on Christmas Day in 2015, then in again a few months later, during a visit to Edinburgh (pictured below) in February 2016.
The piece is from Sportmax’s AW15 collection. It was made in Italy using virgin wool. It last retailed for £940 at farfetch.com. Sadly, it is no longer available for purchase, though the brand currently stock a number of similar pieces on their website.
On her feet, the Duchess wore her suede pumps by Emmy London. They’re the Valerie style in Carbon. The court shoe features a slight platform. They previously retailed for £425, though the company no longer stock the style.
Kate donned a new hat for the walk. It’s the Sumac alpaca fur hat by Lacorine. Reports say she purchased it from Lock & Co.
Lacorine describe the piece as “divinely soft, fluffy and warm, with a generous brim”. The piece comes in twelve different colours and three sizes. It’s handmade in Peru using alpaca wool, which Lacorine say is gathered from natural herd loss. It retails for £225.
Finally, you can see a scarf or pussy-bow blouse tie (it’s unclear which) popping out from under Kate’s coat. The colours and print match with the Sammi scarf or the Cami Pussy Bow blouse both from L.K. Bennett.
