The Duchess of Cambridge took Prince George to watch his dad and uncle play in a charity polo match yesterday the Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Photographers snapped little George playing with other children at the polo match. He’s clutching onto a toy car and a polo mallet. I believe he’s pictured with Mia Grace (Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter) here.
George also enjoyed kicking a ball around the field with his mum.
Here’s the little prince tumbling around on a hill –
Kate’s outfit:
The Duchess dressed casually for the polo game. She chose a cobalt blue and white stripe Breton top from ME + EM.
The British brand describes their Breton stripe top as “perennially chic”. It features a scoop neckline, three-quarter length sleeves and ruched detailing at the bottom hem.
You may recall that Kate wore the same top in a different colour to the charity polo match in June 2014:
The original ME+EM Breton top is now sold out, but if you’d like to copy Kate’s style, you’re in luck. At the time of writing (July 2017), ME+EM sell an updated version on their website. The top now features thicker stripes on the body and small buttons on the shoulders. Otherwise, it is identical.
As of 15th July 2017, the top is reduced and available in a number of sizes. ME+EM internationally. Click here to shop.
Kate paired the top with slim fit blue jeans. She wore her “Leigh” medium rise maternity jeans by Topshop.
Note that Kate is wearing an older season style – the current season “Leigh” jeans have slightly different designs at the back. Topshop and Nordstrom both stock a range of “Leigh” jeans in maternity and non-maternity styles, in a number of different colours and lengths.
Now onto Kate’s accessories. The Duchess wore her Ray-Ban Wayfarer folding sunglasses. Here’s the Duchess wearing them while talking to Prince William:
Kate wears the “tortoise” style frames, which are designed in the iconic Ray-Ban shape, and constructed into a folding design that is not only stylish but practical – they can be folded into your pocket with ease.
During the polo match, Kate wore her Sebago Bala dockside shoes. The Bala shoe is a hand sewn moccasin slip-on shoe that features premium suede uppers and cushioned Latex foam sock lining. The shoe offers non-slip protection, which probably comes in handy for chasing around a toddler!
Finally, Kate wore her Cartier Ballon Bleu watch (the 33mm size).
