On the 19th of January 2021, The Duchess of Cambridge spoke to nurse from Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust over Zoom. Kate praised the nurses for their role in vaccinating the country against COVID-19. She spoke to two retired nurses who’d returned to the NHS to help with the vaccination rollout, and spoke with others who’ve been caring for critically ill patients throughout the pandemic.
