In spring 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) visited Queenstown in New Zealand, where she toured a vineyard. For the visit, she debuted a blue checked shirt from GAP.
Kate paired the shirt with her Zara military blazer, her Corkswoon wedges and a pair of Zara skinny jeans. In 2017, the Duchess wore the shirt again. This time during a visit to a farm.
The shirt’s official style name is the “Gap Fitted Boyfriend Shirt”.
About the GAP Fitted Boyfriend Shirt:
The shirt was made from 100% cotton and featured long sleeves with single button cuffs. It had a patch pocket on the chest. GAP described it as having a tailored silhouette, which gave a relaxed fit. The shirttail hem hit below the hips. Kate wore the navy blue checked pattern. The shirt retailed for $49.95.
