This afternoon, Kate Middleton’s official YouTube channel published a new video shining the spotlight on Health Visitors. The video provides us with a glimpse into a couple of private visits Kate’s paid to a health visiting team and the families they support recently. (And yes, this is a style blog, so I’ll also be looking at her outfits in the video too!)
Watch the video below:
The film comes out of Kate’s Shaping Us campaign, which she launched with The Royal Foundation Centre For Early Childhood earlier this year. (And most of the Princess’s fans will know she launched the centre in 2021.)
On social media and on YouTube, Kate’s team shared the video with the following caption:
Health visitors are the vital link between families, hospitals and through to the education system – the role they play in #ShapingUs is critical. Families today are dealing with so many pressures, and spending time with Health Visitors in recent weeks has been eye-opening and an incredible insight into their work.

The video itself includes footage from yesterday’s Children Centre visit interspersed with clips from two previous visits with health visitors and families. These two visits were made privately—they were not public engagements that we’ve seen photo or video footage from before today.
From the video, we can see Kate spent time with health visitors discussing their roles and the importance of the service they provide to parents.
Later in the video, Kate chats with new parents about their health visitors, and the support they’ve received through the service.
The video closes with Kate delivering a message, shot yesterday at the Children’s Centre:
Families need support like we’ve seen today more than ever and it’s so important that we recognise and celebrate this amazing role that Health visitors play up and down the country
The Princess of Wales
Filmmaker Will Warr captured and created the video. Warr has shot and created several videos for the Prince and Princess since their tenth anniversary in 2021.
As this is a style blog, I’m sure you’re all expecting me to include a write-up of the items Kate’s wearing in the video! Of course! I don’t have much time to write my usual outfit breakdowns at the moment, so here’s an overview:
Kate’s outfits in the video:
The Princess is wearing pieces we’ve seen before:
The blue top is by Cefinn, the Riley Funnel Neck Blouse. The Princess first publicly wore it in Scotland last year. RRP: £170, and it is still available to buy.
The pink sweater is a personal favourite of mine, it’s from Boden. I just adore the colour! It features scalloped detailing on the neckline and cuffs. Kate wore it to a school in 2020. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available to buy.
The green dress, of course, is from Cefinn too. Kate wore it to the engagement at the Children’s Centre just yesterday. The green worn by Kate is sold out, unfortunately. But the same style is still available in two other colours, pink leopard pansy and navy with turquoise polka dot.
Trousers: TBC
Shoes: Emmy London Lulu Flats in either navy or black with the blue outfit. We’ve seen her wear the navy before. It wouldn’t surprise me to learn she has them in black too, she’s known for buying multiples! The flat shoe is still available in several colours at EmmyLondon.com. RRP: £405.
