Prince Louis turns five today! William and Kate have marked the occasion by releasing two sweet new snaps to their social media channels.
The first photograph shows the young prince in a wheelbarrow being pushed by his mother. (It looks like Kate is wearing her Erdem Lotus sweater in the picture; there’s a good repliKate at JCrew here.)
In the second picture, Prince Louis is looking off to the side. He’s wearing a vibrant blue fair isle wool sweater over a checked shirt.
Kensington Palace released the photos with the caption “Someone’s turning 5 tomorrow… 🎂 🥳 A very happy birthday to Prince Louis.”
The two photos were taken by Millie Pilkington, one of the UK’s most respected and accomplished portrait photographers. Ardent fans will recall that William and Kate hired Ms Pilkington as their private wedding photographer back in 2011.
The photographer has also photographed other members of the Royal Family over the years, including HM Queen Elizabeth and the then-Wessex family.

An alternative to the Erdem sweater could be La Ligne. The Erdem is amazing, but out of my price range.

Hello! I am sorry I was unclear in my comment. I am sure you are correct. I was adding a suggestion for a less expensive alternative option for the sweater.
La Ligne can be found on sale for good prices. I found a 100% cashmere in a similar style for $31.00 at Nordstrom online. Original price was just under $300.00. Look for low stock and they sell the last one or two very cheap and free shipping.
