Last night (4th June 2022), Kate paid a private to Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
The Hospital shared two photographs of the Duchess on Twitter explaining that she wanted to meet patients, families and staff unable to join the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations over the weekend.
The Royal Family have been celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee—her 70-year reign—with a series of engagements spanning four days. If you’ve missed any of our Jubilee coverage so far, click here.
Evelina London also shared photos of their Platinum Jubilee decorations—all crafted by some of the children and young people cared for by the hospital staff.
Evelina London is a specialist children’s hospital. They provide life-changing care for children, young people and their families. The Duchess has been Patron since 2018.
A quick look at Kate’s outfit now, as is customary on this blog.
The Duchess chose a red dress—it’s hard to tell for sure, but I think it could be the L.K. Bennett Cayla.
Kate wore the garment to Wimbledon in 2015. She brought it back in 2020, for a chat with veterans at a Royal British Legion care home.
You can just catch a glimmer of something under Kate’s neckline. Unfortunately, I cannot discern anything from the photo.
