Kate Middleton owns the ‘Evita Lilly Collage’ dress by Erdem.
The Princess of Wales debuted the floral print dress during a briefing for her charity, Heads Together in 2017. We’ve yet to see the Princess wear the knee-length dress again—and with her preference for longer hemlines recently, I’m not sure we’ll see it again anytime soon.
About the Erdem Evita Lily Dress:
The chic knee-length number has a body-skimming silhouette. The black backdrop is punctuated by vibrant floral motifs, featuring a mix of cerulean, yellow, and lilac hues.
The garment has a demure, rounded neckline and full-length sleeves, offering a classic touch. Paired with on-trend navy ankle-strap heels, it strikes the perfect balance between timeless and contemporary. Ideal for an evening soirée or a stylish day event.
The back features a concealed zip. The skirt stops just above the knees. It’s made from a polyester blend fabric and partially lined with 100% silk.
On their website (page no longer live) Erdem wrote that the Evita dress as perfect for transitioning between the seasons.
Here’s how Erdem describes the lily print design:
Vibrant lilies in yellow, green and blue boldly punctuate a light weight, textured black matelassé background; intensely gathered around the waist, neckline and down the sleeves, delicate sprigs fall freely on the skirt, adding free spirited appeal to the formality of the demure silhouette.

Where to buy the Erdem Evita Dress:
Sadly, the dress is no longer available to purchase online. Though, at the time of writing, it can be found on eBay.
The Evita dress in white:
I also found the floral Evita dress at The Outnet, in white, with a print featuring lush greenery and pictorial blooms. Note, this version seems a little shorter than Kate’s. It hits the model above the knee.
At the time of writing (October 2023), the floral Erdem dress is available in all sizes from UK6 to UK18. Click here to shop.
Kate Middleton wearing Erdem:
Kate is no stranger to Erdem! The Duchess has a number of their dresses and coats in her closet. She’s worn the brand pretty frequently since joining the Royal Family in 2011.
Kate most recently chose an Erdem outfit during a service to mark Commonwealth Day in March 2023:
