Kate Middleton wore the cream Temperley London Beatrice dress in Tuvalu, during the 2012 Royal Tour.
The Beatrice dress was from Alice by Temperley, Temperley London‘s diffusion label. It was described by Net-A-Porter (£595) as follows:
Cream crepe. Red and beige embroidered panels, sheer sleeves, button-fastening keyhole, button-fastening placket, partially lined. Concealed hook and zip fastening at back. 100% viscose; lining: 100% polyester. Dry clean Colour: natural
Temperley London merged the sister brand with its main collection around 2014/2015. Later, the company launched a second diffusion label, Somerset by Alice Temperley with John Lewis.
Can I still buy the dress?
It’s from an older collection, so sadly not. There does appear to be one ‘Beatrice’ dress on eBay at the time of writing (September 2023), but in the colour blue.
Kate and Temperley London:
Kate Middleton has worn Temperley London pieces on a handful of notable occasions over the years. The Princess chose a stunning black lace gown by the brand at the War Horse film premiere in 2012. She also also sported a white dress by Temperley London during a visit to Wimbledon in 2011.
