27th May 2021 — The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off the final leg of their Scotland tour with a visit to Starbank Park in Edinburgh. Here, the couple heard about the work of Fields In Trust. The organisation are trying to reduce inequality of access to green spaces in the UK.
William and Kate launched Fields In Trust’s Green Space Index, an annual barometer of green space provision and distribution across the UK. The royal duo also heard from volunteers and families about crucial the park has been to the local community.
