After an eventful morning full of events between the cities of Mumbai and New Delhi, William and Kate attended a garden party at the residence of the British High Commissioner.
The swanky reception hosted over 1,500 guests from Delhi’s business, politics, and diplomatic sectors. The attendees gathered to toast The Queen as she celebrates her landmark 90th birthday next week.
During the reception, William delivered a speech paying personal tribute to his grandmother:
“I am incredibly lucky to have my grandmother in my life. As she turns 90, she is a remarkably energetic and dedicated guiding force for her family.”
He also shared a message from the Queen herself, who revealed that she had fond memories of visiting the country:
“I have fond memories of our previous visits to India. This event today is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the enduring friendship between our two countries, our shared culture and the business opportunities we can create together.”

Kate’s outfit:
Many people assume Kate chose to wear a dress to the party. However, she is actually wearing a skirt and top combo from British designer Alice Temperley.
Specifically, Kate’s wearing Temperley London’s Delphia maxi skirt, described as a “pastel-pink silk-organza maxi skirt [that is] detailed with light-catching crystals and intricate black crochet trims”.
The skirt retailed for $2,995 at Net-A-Porter.com (though is now sold out). It can still be purchased for £1,995 at TemperleyLondon.com
On their website, Temperley London state the skirt carries “opulent embroidery motifs of Indian Chintz and lattice”.
The matching crop top features sheer shoulders and short sleeves. It retailed for $1,595 at Net-Porter.com (sold out). It can still be purchased for £995 at TemperleyLondon.com.
Temperley London also stock a Delphia cocktail dress and the entire collection also comes in this beautiful light blue shade too.
Kate’s carried a black clutch bag, thought to be from Prada:
The small black clutch is made from satin and features gold-plated hardware. It costs £940 (around $1,340).
Kate’s earrings are unidentified, they date back to at least 2007 (candid photos show the Duchess wearing them on a night out).
It is unknown which shoes Kate wore with the dress, though it is speculated that she could be wearing this pair by Gianvito Rossi:
