On Sunday the 20th of May 2017, Pippa Middleton married her fiancé James Matthews at St Mark’s Church in Berkshire.
The bride wore a stunning white wedding dress designed by British fashion designer, Giles Deacon.
In a short statement, Mr Deacon said he was thrilled to work with Pippa on the wedding dress. He confirmed that the dress is constructed with a cap sleeve, high neckline and featured a corseted bodice with draping to the front and a heart-shaped detail at the back.
A look at the heart detailing on the back of the gown, plus the veil:
Of course, Kate attended her younger sister’s wedding. She chaperoned the page boys and flower girls, including her own two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kate’s outfit:
Kate chose a blush pink dress by Alexander Mcqueen. The dress is a bespoke piece, which means it is not part of the designer’s ready-to-wear collection, nor can it be purchased from any store.
The rose pink midi dress featured v-neckline, full sleeves, peplum detailing and soft pleats.
Kate accessorised the pink dress with her Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in Praline suede. They’re a favourite of hers – she wears them often.
She owns the heels in four additional colours: red, black, burgundy and silver (more details here).
The Duchess wore a pink hat by milliner Jane Taylor. It appears to be a bespoke piece, handcrafted just for Kate. The hat features a rose in the centre.
Finally, Kate accessorised with a pair of Morganite Double Drop Earrings by jeweller Kiki McDonough.
Kiki McDonough uploaded a picture of the earrings to her Instagram page; she described the jewels as “pretty and elegant”. Sadly, the earrings are not listed on Kiki’s website to buy.
