Kate and William have released a new family portrait this weekend. The picture features the family and their pet pooch Lupo.
The image is to mark their forthcoming tour to Australia and New Zealand, which begins a week on Monday (April 7th).
The picture, which made the front covers of all the newspapers this weekend, is very informal in style. It was captured by Jason Bell at Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace in mid-March 2014.
Jason Bell took the official photographs for the christening of Prince George at Clarence House in October 2013.
Jason Bell is a well-established portrait photographer and his work has appeared in many of the world’s foremost publications.
In the photograph Prince George is wearing a baby blue jumper, customised with the wording ‘George.’ Daddy William wears a coordinating blue shirt and Kate is wearing her white Temperley London Rodeo blouse, which we first saw her wear during the Canada tour in 2011. Net-A-Porter still list the item on their website (albeit ‘out of stock’). They describe the blouse as ‘Cut from a gossamer silk and cotton-blend and trimmed with lace’. The blouse originally retailed for £445.
