22nd March 2022—William and Kate arrived in Jamaica for the second leg of their Caribbean Tour. The Duchess chose a golden yellow dress for the official welcome—unsurprisingly, the colour features in Jamaica’s flag 🇯🇲 (Kate is known for diplomatic dressing and honouring her host country by wearing one of its national colours). As always, you’ll find full outfit details further down the page ⬇.
The Caribbean Tour took place in March 2022. William and Kate visited Belize and The Bahamas in addition to Jamaica. They were marking The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee—a historical milestone for Her Majesty, she is the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne. You can view all of Kate’s tour outfits here.
Upon arrival at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, William and Kate were met by dignitaries—and very blustery weather—for the official welcome.
After meeting the official delegation on the tarmac, the couple were whisked over to King’s House to see Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen and his wife, Lady Allen.
Kate’s yellow dress & white accessories in Jamaica:
Kate chose a bold, mid-length dress by Roksanda. It looks pretty similar to the designer’s Brigette Bow dress.
It looks like Kate has had her version customised with sleeves and a waist belt. It could be longer in length too.
Kate did not change from her Aquazurra heels (she had boarded the plane in Belize wearing the white and gold pumps.) They’re the Cece style.
The Italian-made pumps are crafted from smooth nappa leather and feature cut-out details at the heel and golden accents on the sharply pointed toe. Shop for £605 GBP at FarFetch.
We haven’t spotted Kate wearing these earrings before. I managed to hunt them down: they’re by Sézane. They’re the Celeste style in gold plated metal and mother of pearl.
Sézane sold the earrings for $110 USD before they went on sale for $85. Sadly, the pretty earrings are no longer available to buy in Mother of Pearl. You can buy them with other gemstones, though.
Kate debuted a new white clutch bag. It’s by Ferragamo. I think it’s from the “Vara Bow” family, likely an older design as it’s difficult to track down the exact piece online.
Kate’s gold cuff bracelet is by Jamaican designer, Lashawndla Bailey-Miller. It’s from her brand Steelz and Mantraz.
It’s the gold “She’s Royal” cuff. The piece is made from highly polished stainless steel and plated in 18k gold. You can have it inscribed with a message of your choice. Kate chose not to have an inscription. The piece retails on Bailey-Miller’s website inzzpire365.com for $65 (I think USD not JMD but you’d need to email them and double-check this for certain.)
