Monday 26th October 2015—William, Kate and Harry attended the London premiere of the new James Bond film, SPECTRE.
The James Bond film was selected as this year’s Royal Film Performance, a “major film premiere which is attended by members of the British Royal Family.”
The glittering premiere benefited the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, a charity for those working behind the scenes in film and TV. More about the charity:
We support industry professionals who work in every role from script to screen who find themselves in times of need for one reason or another.
Through donations, our Supporters Scheme, and events including The Royal Film Performance™, we are able to help more than 1,000 beneficiaries and their families every year.
Kate’s outfit:
The Duchess wore a bespoke gown designed by Jenny Packham.
The dress appears to be based on this similar design from Packham’s spring 2011 collection:
The dress featured a glittering diamante waistband, buttons on the sheer sleeves and a gorgeous open back design. The back of the dress can be seen in this short video clip –
Kate carried Jenny Packham’s ‘Casa’ clutch in a glittery silver colour. The solid frame box clutch features a crystal encrusted clasp. It’s lined in silk and comes complete with a matching mirror.
Net-A-Porter previously sold the bag in sizes small (£325) and large (as carried by Kate, £455). They described the piece as “a glamorous evening bag”.
The Duchess wore Robinson Pelham’s Pagoda earrings, set with blue topaz and diamonds in white gold. You may remember Carole Middleton wore these earrings to William and Kate’s wedding reception back in 2011.
Those familiar with Kate’s shoe closet will recognise her shoes instantly, they’re a firm favourite amongst style fans. They’re the Jimmy Choo Vamp platform.
