Roland Mouret Cady Suit Blazer in Camel

Kate Middleton wears a camel suit by Roland Mouret. The tailored set features the designer’s Cady blazer and coordinated trousers in the same warm camel tone.

The Princess has worn the ensemble twice to date. Our first sighting of the camel suit was in September 2023. Kate had visited a youth intervention charity in London (pictured above).

She wore the suit again, for a second time, to meet the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Jordan at Windsor Castle (above).

About the Camel Cady Blazer

The camel blazer is a single-breasted design cut in Roland Mouret’s signature cady fabric, a structured yet slightly stretchy material known for its sculptural drape.

The piece features a fitted silhouette with defined shoulders, a single self-covered button closure, and angled flap pockets that accentuate the waistline.

The tailored cut and soft camel hue make the blazer a refined, versatile piece—polished enough for formal engagements but relaxed in tone thanks to its neutral colour.

When paired with the matching trousers, the suit looks elegant, approachable and somewhat understated—not corporate.

Can I buy Kate’s camel suit?

Kate’s camel suit was likely a bespoke piece made for her by Roland Mouret, and as far as I can tell, it has never been available for purchase.

The designer does, however, sell the same silhouette in other colours—including black, cream satin and burgundy.

The current version features the same hourglass cut, notched lapels, and button fastening seen in Kate’s bespoke design.

Kate’s a fan of Roland Mouret

The Princess of Wales is a long-standing fan of Roland Mouret’s sleek tailoring and fluid eveningwear.

Over the years, the Princess has worn several of the designer’s creations, including his wide-leg trousers in black and blue, as well as several dresses and gowns.

The Princess owns this very Cady suit in a lovely, deep burgundy colour:

We first spotted Kate in a Roland Mouret dress in July 2011, mere months after she joined the Royal Family. The Princess was at Heathrow Airport, boarding a flight to Canada, ahead of her first official Royal Tour.

Note about the product image at the top of this page: as the jacket was never offered in camel, I edited the burgundy jacket in Photoshop and changed the colour for illustrative purposes.
