Kate Middleton wore this festive red cardigan to film an introduction for Together At Christmas, the carol concert she hosted at Westminster Abbey, November 2021. ITV broadcast the concert on the 24th of December 2021.

I like to picture Kate sitting with her personal assistant, planning outfits for upcoming engagements. “OK, so the Christmas Carol Concert. I need something festive. It has to say ‘Christmas jumper’ without actually being a Christmas jumper…it needs to be stylish”. The assistant clicks around the internet, looking for something that fits the brief. “This?” She asks, showing a cardigan by Miu Miu. The piece is as red as Santa’s suit and finished with mother of pearl buttons. “Perfect,” says Kate, handing over her credit card.
We’re yet to see the Princess wear the cardigan again—but I suspect she’ll pull it out at a December engagement in the future. It’s the perfect piece to wear to one of her patronage’s Christmas events.
About the red cardigan:
Kate’s festive cardigan features a black and white rose pattern that repeats across the jacquard-woven cashmere knit and is decorated with tactile bobbles. The lustrous mother-of-pearl buttons add a touch of glamour. The piece is finished with a detachable white cotton collar.
Cost: £1,350 at Net-A-Porter.com.

Where can I buy Kate’s Miu Miu cardigan?
Sadly, the red cardigan is no longer available for purchase.
Has Kate Middleton worn clothing from Miu Miu before?
Yes! We know she owns two other items from the Italian fashion brand (that we know of). The first is a red suede bag with a bow embellishment. We’ve seen the Duchess carry this several times since 2016 (pictured below during a visit to Vancouver). In 2017, she chose a festive tartan coat by Miu Miu for the traditional Christmas Day service at St Mary’s Church.
