During a visit to Cornwall in September 2016, Kate Middleton wore a blush pink dress by Lela Rose. It’s the American designer’s ‘Double Faced Twill Elbow Sleeve’ dress.
About the pink Lela Rose dress:
The fit and flare dress has elbow length sleeves, a softly pleated knee-length skirt, a thick waistband and seam detailing along the sleeves and upper portion of the skirt. It’s made in the USA from an Italian polyamide, wool and elastane fabric.
Here’s how the designer describes it on her website:
- Half sleeves double faced dress
- Body contouring seams with band at natural waist
- Fit-and-flare silhouette with softly pleated skirt
- Back zip
- Polyamide/wool/elastane; lining, 100% polyester
- Made in the USA of Italian materials
- Dry clean
Here’s a look at the zip and seam detailing on the back of the dress:
The dress originally retailed for $1,295 before going on sale at $777 USD.
Where to buy the Lela Rose dress:
Sadly, the blush pink dress is from an older collection and is no longer available for purchase.
Kate Middleton wearing Lela Rose:
If “Lela Rose” sounds familiar, it’s because Kate chose a dress from the designer back in 2014 during the Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand. She chose the Circle Lace Trim Dress from Lela Rose’s spring/summer 2012 collection.
