On the 23rd of April 2020, William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis made a surprise appearance on BBC One’s The Big Night In, a telethon organised by Children in Need and Comic Relief held to support those affected by the Covid-19 crisis. You can watch the family’s appearance below (skip ahead to 2 minutes 13 seconds).
During the programme, the Cambridges stood on their doorstep and joined in with the ‘Clap for our Carers‘ campaign. The family-of-five looked coordinated in their blue outfits. Of course, blue is the signature colour of the NHS.
Kate’s blue floral dress by British brand Ghost. It’s the Anouk style.
About the Ghost Anouk Dress:
The Ghost Anouk dress features a v-neck shawl collar and wide-cuffed long sleeves, which gives the dress a retro feel.
Ghost finished the empire-line midi length dress with a slight ruffle on the skirt.
The dress is made from 100% satin viscose and features ditsy pink florals on a soft blue background.
Buying Kate’s dress:
I’ve spotted a few sizes come back in stock on the John Lewis website for short periods of time, so it’s worth checking there first.
Sadly, the dress is no longer available on Ghost’s website.
It’s also worth checking eBay. There are lots of new and preloved Anouk dresses for sale in their marketplace.
Take a look at the bottom of this page for some other great dresses by Ghost.
