In June 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) chose a blue belted dress from ASOS Maternity for a shopping trip in Chelsea, London. She was pregnant with Prince George at the time.
According to the Daily Mail, Kate shopped for soft furnishings, including curtains and drapes, for little George’s nursery.
Kate paired the maternity dress with a bright pink cardigan and her black Pied-A-Terre Imperia wedges.
About the blue ASOS Maternity dress:
The blue maternity dress featured cap sleeves, a scoop neckline with ruched detailing and an elasticated waist to stretch over a baby bump. It was designed to be worn throughout pregnancy. The maternity dress also had a belt at the waist that could be tied into a bow.
The dress was made from a soft, breathable jersey fabric and it came in three different colours.
Where to buy the blue maternity dress:
Sadly, ASOS no longer sell the blue scoop neck maternity dress. However, the dress does pop up on eBay from time-to-time. I recently found it with a buy now price of £35 (around $57).
