Kate clearly selected this yellow dress as a nod to her host country’s flag. Yellow is in the Bahamian flag 🇧🇸. The midi dress has an 80s-inspired silhouette, complete with a ruffled collar, puff sleeves and pleated peplum at the waist.
It is finished with a bow on the neckline. The primrose yellow silk-jacquard fabric is printed with roses in a lighter hue.
The piece is finished with a crystal-embellished buckle and faux pearl buttons—Net-A-Porter call it “a nod to the decade’s [80s] glamorous excess.”
