She also toured the newly opened Typhoon Future Synthetic Training Facility, which offers cutting-edge training environments for pilots.

She met with members of the welfare team, who support the well-being of RAF personnel and their families.

The Princess also spent time with aviators from junior ranks, hearing about their day-to-day roles and experiences on site.

Finally, she also spent time with families of serving personnel, hearing about their experiences.

RAF Coningsby is one of the UK’s most important air force bases, home to the Typhoon force as well as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which preserves historic aircraft and honours those who fought in the Second World War.

This was the Princess’s inaugural trip to the base since she was appointed to the role of Royal Honorary Air Commodore in August 2023—a position previously held by Prince William.

William had served as Coningsby’s Honorary Air Commodore for more than a decade before passing the patronage on to his wife.

Kate’s Outfit

The sharp two-piece featured a fitted single-breasted blazer and slim-cut trousers.

She finished the look with a slim navy leather belt and pointed suede heels.

Her hair was swept back into a half-up style.
