We all thought we’d had our Kate fix for the month after the Duchess visited Birmingham last week, so naturally, we were delighted to see the lovely pictures of Kate and Pippa strolling along a beach in North Wales, near Kate’s home in Anglesey over the weekend.
Kate looked gorgeous in a long light pink cowl neck jumper, tight black jeans and wellies. We can’t post the picture I’m afraid, but here’s the link (opens in a new window).
Simona, a visitor to What Kate Wore’s Facebook page reminded us that Kate had worn the pink cowl neck sweater before back in April, a few days before she got married! Here’s that picture:
As you can see on the right, we’re pretty sure we’ve located Kate’s pink jumper. It is from John Lewis, a shop that Kate is known to frequent (there is a “Peter Jones” department store on Sloane Square in Chelsea, which is the same company as a John Lewis essentially.)

You can clearly see the same ribbed hemline around the bottom of the jumper and on the beach pictures and you can see the same ribbing details around the cuffs too. Not to mention the colour, similar length of the tunic-style top and cowl neckline.

Sure wish I could get this in the US. LOVE this top! I love the pink color she wore, but I love the blue and lilac options too. Too bad my size is sold out and they don’t ship to the US (or don’t ship at reasonable prices). It’s one of the few things that I have found that Kate wore that I can afford.

Talbots in the U.S. has a similar pink cowl neck sweater for $89.00. It does have 3/4 sleeves instead of full sleeves but you get a similar look with it.
