During William and Kate's Royal Tour of Canada and the USA, the royal couple paid a visit to the Inner-City Arts Project in downtown Los Angeles.  The project is an "oasis" where children can learn art, photography, music, dance and more. Kate and Will Stun Crowds at BAFTA Event in LA

In 2011, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent several days in the USA, as part of their North American Tour.  On the third day, the royal couple attended a black-tie event held by BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. As part of the royal tour of North America, William and Kate visited Los Angeles.  The couple arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday July 8th 2011, and were met by British Ambassador Sir Nigel Sheinwald, California Gov.
