Sunday, 8th January 2012—The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) attended the War Horse premiere in London.
The premiere was in benefit of The Royal Foundation, the charity jointly operated by William, Kate and Harry (at the time.) Tickets for the event were reported to have cost £10,000.
Kate’s outfit:
Kate looked stunning in a black lace floor-length gown by Temperley London. It’s the Amoret Lace Dress. Here’s a look at Kate wearing the gown, arriving at the premiere:
The dress is crafted from French lace and finished with a removable velvet waist belt with bow. The dress has bracelet-length sleeves, keyhole closure on the back and a nude-pink silk slip lining.
A look the back of the dress on Kate:
Kate carried a black velvet clutch bag with an oversized bow. It’s by Jamie Mascaro for Pretty Ballerinas.
Kate accessorised her outfit with a beautiful diamond earring and bracelet set.
Kate first debuted the set during the 2011 tour of North America. It’s thought Prince Charles gifted the set to Kate as a wedding gift:
The diamond bracelet and matching earrings worn by Her Royal Highness to the reception was a gift from The Prince of Wales following her marriage to Prince William in April 2011. We also believe a necklace with a similar design was gifted to the Duchess upon her marriage by The Prince of Wales.
