Kate Middleton’s Vintage Clothing & Accessories
Over the last twelve months, the Princess of Wales has flown the flag for vintage fashion. She’s worn a colourful 1950s sundress, carried a 1960s beaded handbag, worn a Chanel blazer from the 1990s and worn a 20-year-old YSL jacket from her personal collection. She’s also carried a vintage beaded clutch from Bags by Josef for a number of years.

The Princess of Wales has worn an increasing amount of vintage clothing this year.
It's no surprise. In the last 24 months she's gravitated towards slow fashion brands and has increasingly sought pieces made from sustainable materials. Vintage fashion goes with this hand-in-hand.
I suspect she's become more conscious of the impact of fast fashion on our planet—perhaps through William's work with Earthshot. I think she's trying to use her platform as a style icon to encourage others to do the same.
Expect to see more vintage in months to come!
