On the 17th of November 2023, Kate Middleton shared a heartfelt video message to kickstart the “Children in Need” televised fundraising appeal on BBC One. Watch below:
For her appearance, the Princess of Wales chose a vibrant and eye-catching blue blouse by Lisou, known as the ‘Betty‘ Rainbow Print Silk Shirt. She paired the top with a pair of black trousers (unknown) and her Anderson’s croc-effect leather belt (also in black).

This shade of blue always looks good on Kate, I think.
The style of this blouse takes me back to the 1970s and not in a good way. While I like a prominent sleeve that is popular now, this one isn’t “it” for me. The designer paired it with matching trousers and I suppose that sort of worked, it was a statement outfit on their website. If this was my blouse, I’d redesign the sleeves to be less gathered at the sleeve cap, maybe use a box pleat there instead of the poofiness.
