On the 1st of July 2019, the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) visited the ‘Back to Nature’ garden she designed earlier in the year.
The garden had been moved from its previous home at the Chelsea Flower Show to the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
During the visit, Kate hosted a picnic for those who use the services of her patronages, including Action for Children and Evelina London.
Children from the Hampton Hill Junior School also joined in the fun.
Kate and the children took part in lots of activities, including bug hunting, den exploring and treasure hunting.
As part of her longstanding work on Early Years, The Duchess of Cambridge believes that spending time outdoors plays a pivotal role in children’s future health and happiness.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s Back to Nature garden highlights how time spent in natural environments can help build the foundations for positive physical and mental wellbeing that last through childhood and over a lifetime.

Kate’s outfit at the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival:
Kate’s dress was by Parisian label Sandro.
This is a new brand for Kate. We’ve never seen her wear clothing from the company before (at least not publicly).
The dark green dress features a cream and burgundy square design printed over the fabric. It has a pleated v-neck, midi-length skirt and short sleeves.
Kate’s Casteñer Carina Espadrilles made a return. The Duchess has worn the wedges all summer.
They feature a light brown suede front, a rope wedge that measures 80mm and matching suede ankle ties. Find them on Net-A-Porter in many colours and fabrics.
Kate also wore her Accessorize Polly Petal drop earrings. The pretty earrings cost just £8.00 (around $10).
The earrings feature pink petal-shaped gemstones surrounded by gold coloured metal. Shop them at Accessorize.com.

The Duchess looked lovely on this occasion, the dress is nice. I would love to see her in strappy sandals for a change.

It was certainly nice to see her wearing a new brand!
