
In May 2014, Kate wore a red and coral striped coat by Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders during a visit to Scotland. The coat is known as the Athena Wool Jacquard Coat.

The coat was part of Jonathan Saunders’ fall winter 2013 collection, according to the Moda Operandi website, where it sold for $2,555.
Moda Operandi describe the coat as follows:
[The] stripe wool jacquard coat from Jonathan Saunders features a notched collar, single breast pocket, full-length sleeves, flap front pockets, and a single vent at back.
The coat was made in the UK and featured single breasted button fastenings. It was also fully lined and was crafted from 86% wool, 11% mohair and 3% polyamide.
The coat was also available in a green stripe colourway from a number of retailers, including Net-A-Porter.
