Kate Middleton owns this blue sweater by Alexander McQueen. She wore it on the 9th of March 2022 during a visit to the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in London.
I think we first saw the sweater in a video of Kate shared on social media earlier this year. Kensington Palace announced the Duchess would Denmark in February. Only Kate’s arms/hands appeared in the video as she created the Danish flag out of lego:
About the blue Alexander McQueen sweater:
Kate, the Queen of Diplomatic Dressing, clearly selected this beautiful blue sweater to pay homage to the azure shade in the Ukrainian flag 🇺🇦
The luxurious blue knit is crafted from fine Italian cashmere yarn for a silky-soft feel. The piece features a crew neckline with chunky ribbed detail. The thick rib detail is also on the sweater’s cuffs and hem.
Blue not your colour? The sweater also comes in black and pink.
Where to buy the blue sweater:
If you’d like to copy Kate’s style and own the same sweater, you’re in luck. It’s still available at the following stores: Matches Fashion, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Net-A-Porter.
Alexander McQueen Blue Cashmere Sweater
Exact match! Add this cosy, silky-soft cashmere knit by Alexander McQueen to your closet. It’s a versatile, hardworking piece. Wear it with trousers to the office, throw it on with jeans at the weekend. I wonder if Kate owns it in the pink too. (She ought to!)
