She clearly has taken inspiration from Queen, who famously wears dazzling shades so she can be picked out from the crowd. Her Majesty apparently once told a biographer that she “[has] to be seen to be believed”. Kate has a rainbow of colours in her closet: THAT famous blue engagement dress from 2011, the eye-catching candy pink-on-pink look that garnered headlines in 2020 and a yellow dress that caused William to tell Kate she looked like a banana in 2014! However, there’s one colour that Kate rarely wears: orange. Why? Nobody knows! Rumour is that Kate doesn’t believe the colour suits her. Others suggest it’s because orange doesn’t photograph well.
