Kate attends the annual 100 Women in Hedge Funds London Gala last night

Last night both Catherine and William attended a low key gala event in benefit of a Child Bereavement Charity, organised by the ‘100 Women in Hedge Funds’ initiative, which Prince William has been a patron of for over 18 months now.

Kate attended the gala evening with William, she wore a bright red full length (maxi) dress, with a plunge neckline, flared sleeves and a tie around the waist.

Kate’s dress, as spotted by the incredible @RegalEyes on Twitter (on a blackberry phone screen no less!) is by Beulah London.  It is known as a the Sarai Dress and is currently retailing at £595.

The dress is made from silk jersey with chiffon sleeves.  Aside from the bright red, the dress comes in a lovely navy blue too.

It appears that Kate is carrying the same gold glittery clutch as Pippa did recently to the Boodles Boxing Ball.  The gold glittery clutch is by Wilbur and Gussie. Obviously we cannot say for sure but it does certainly look very similar and this is a very popular label at the moment:

The gold one seems to be already sold out online, but the silver one is still available.

    • Thanks for letting me know, I’m RUBBISH at spelling it. Kept spelling it wrong earlier too!

      • ; ) No problem!! We are glad to help you !!! :) You know that the cluth is already sol out!! so incrdeible!! so Kate fashion effect :)))

        • Wow that was quick. I found the silver one on House of Fraser if anyone wants that instead (just as pretty!). I put a link to it above.

  3. I am a real fan of almost everything Kate wears, but it is just me or is this dress too long on her?

  4. I don’t care for this dress. It reminds me of a dressing gown!

  5. Kate’s face and hair are stunning but the dress is not. This is the wrong cut for her.

  6. I am intrigued by Catherine’s accessory choices. I notice that she usually matches her purse and her shoes (same color). Here in the US that has of late been considered a faux-pas because the powers that be in fashion claim it is too matchy-matchy. I personally like a purse and shoes that match. I hope Catherine (re)starts the trend!

  7. I definitely think this dress is a little too long, however I think it compliments her style with the wrap around and the neckline. I do love the red color on her!
