UPDATE: The Prince and Princess of Wales have — unfortunately — confirmed they will not be attending the BAFTAs this year.
We’ve not seen Kate Middleton wear a gown in over a year. Could that be set to change?

It looks likely. According to reports, the Princess of Wales will deliver her first dazzling red carpet moment in 14 months at the BAFTA Film Awards next month.
An exclusive in the Daily Mail says that Kate is “set to make her biggest comeback to royal working life” next month and will make a “show- stopping appearance”.
BAFTA insiders told the newspaper that they’re “pulling out all the stops” to secure Kate’s presence and that “anything Bafta can do to work around Kate, it will do.”
[BAFTA hopes [Kate] will appear alongside William in what will be her big showbiz return since she’s been in recovery.

To date, the Princess has walked the BAFTA red carpet six times. Her husband, Prince William, became President of the organisation in 2010.

Last February, Kate skipped the event while recuperating from “planned abdominal surgery”. In March of last year, during an emotional video shared with the public, Kate revealed cancer had been found during the surgery. She spent the rest of spring and summer out of the limelight while undergoing chemotherapy, gradually returning to royal duties in the autumn.
The BAFTA Film Awards are held annually to celebrate excellence in film. Held in London, they showcase British talent while honouring international films, making it a highlight of the global awards season.
They are organised by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, one of the UK’s leading cultural institutions. The awards spotlight outstanding talent in acting, directing, writing, and other film-making disciplines.
First presented in 1947, the BAFTAs have grown into a globally respected event. Winners receive the iconic BAFTA mask, a symbol of achievement in the arts.
BONUS: Kate often repeats gowns at the BAFTA Film Awards. Let me know which gown you’d like to see her repeat if she attends next month. Let me know in the comments below!

I’d like to see her wear the golden one she wore for the James Bond film premier
I was trying to think of gowns I remember Catherine wearing one time.
From your list of gowns, the Wonder Off-the-Shoulder emerald green by Jenny Packham says PoW, Elie Saab embroidered gown in pink for wedding in Jordan and Jenny Packham Anemone gown in white.
I think Kate will surprise us with her fashion. She makes great choices.

Here is one of my favorites I’d love to see Kate wear, the aquamarine dress:
Event: Reception in The Bahamas during the royal tour of the Caribbean, March 2022.
Ooooh yes! That’s a gorgeous one. I’d love to see that one again for sure.
Though I do think it’s more suited to spring, personally?
I’m just so excited to see her in a gown!! I would love to see something blue or green tho
Maybe the green Jenny Packham ‘Georgia’ gown again? Or her Saffiya gown from the 2023 Royal Variety?
Hi Carly! The gown Princess Kate wore September 2021 to the premier of No Time To Die far and away remains, to date, her most striking and elegant gown. No denying, Princess Kate honors, enhances and elevates the look of every gown she wears, but the glittering beauty of the colors, the grace of the flowing cape sleeves, how the dress accents Kate’s gloriously feminine form surely must have been a sight to behold that evening. I choose Kate’s gold sequined gown by Jenny Packham.
It’s gorgeous, for sure. But I have a feeling she’ll hold this one in reserve for a few years, like the lilac one she wore in LA in 2011. She brought it back for the launch of Earthshot a decade later. I sense she’ll do the same.
I love the Phillipa Lepley Vienna Crossover Gown in Blue!
YES! We need to see her in this one again.
Which was the pale blue drape one? The Jenny Packham from the Spectre premiere. I want to see that one again!
