This is a website about Kate Middleton—the Princess of Wales—and fashion! I write blog posts about Kate’s style during public engagements, document the outfits she wears, and chronicle the individual clothing items in her wardrobe. I also write style tips and create guides to help people ‘get the look’. Also, expect news about Kate and work, plus her family, where appropriate.

About me & why I started this site:

My name is Carly Whitewood (née Wood).

I started the site as a hobby in 2011 after being captivated by Royal Wedding fever! I was interested in both Kate and her sister Pippa (and particularly their style).

I can’t believe this site is now over 12 years old!

In 2014, I set up the wardrobe section of the site to archive the pieces Kate wears, but primarily, to make my own life easier! It meant I could quickly find information for my writing (e.g. how many times Kate had worn an item). This section of the site became pretty popular with people wanting to learn more about Kate’s clothing.

I live in York, England, UK.

I love blogging. I’ve been writing one blog or another for 20 years.

I have a Masters Degree in Media and Communication. I set this site up during my studies to entertain myself when not writing essays! As part of my degree, I took modules on various media-related topics, website creation, and PR. I think it’s interesting that I wrote a dissertation analysing online communities and now I’m part of a huge one—Kate fans!

I love fashion, handbags, tiaras and the royals (of course).

I am a mother to a toddler (and a dog).
