On 18th February 2016, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited RAF Valley in Anglesey. The couple attended a “farewell parade” to formally commemorate the disbandment of the RAF Search and Rescue Force, and mark 75 years of continuous operations. This afternoon, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended Wimbledon to cheer on Britain's Andy Murray in the mens quarter-final. The couple sat in the Royal Box to watch Murray play against Canada's Vasek Pospisil on Centre Court. Today, The Duchess of Cambridge travelled up to the West Midlands for two engagements. First, Kate visited the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke-on-trent, Staffordshire. Stoke-on-Trent is famous for its pottery. Yesterday, on her second wedding anniversary, Kate visited Naomi House, a hospice for children and young adults located in Hampshire. Her visit was timed to coincide with Children's Hospice Week. We also learned that Kate privately visited the hospice back in 2008. During her visit to Naomi House, Kate met with 850 volunteers and enjoyed a tea party with some of the families at the hospice.
