We can’t deny that Kate’s outfit for the Queen’s Jubilee service was absolutely stunning yesterday and after the Queen herself, Kate was the best dressed lady in St. Paul’s.
The lace Alexander McQueen number appears to have been custom designed for Kate, so there’s little chance of us ladies snagging the style off the peg. Even if the dress was part of McQueen’s current collection and available to buy in stores, it would still cost a small fortune to buy.

I found this and I just couldn’t WAIT to share it with you, as I know there are plenty of ladies just aching to get their hands on a similar style to the dress Kate wore:
Isn’t it gorgeous? The dress is the Amy Childs Lace Pencil Dress from Lipsy London. I love it because it’s covered in a lace overlay, like Kate’s dress, plus it’s one of the only Lace dresses I’ve found with sleeves (albeit three quarter length). It also features a boat-neckline hemmed in lace – again, just like Kate’s dress! The colour isn’t a million miles away either.

Let’s take a look at Amy Childs wearing the dress and we can compare it to the one Kate is wearing:
I am so in love with this dress – I think it’s a pretty good ‘RepliKate’ and the price is great too. I am attending a wedding next month and I’m hoping to wear this Lipsy dress and have my hair like Kate’s from the recent Olympic Gala (plaited and pinned up) with perhaps a headband/fascinator. I can’t wait!
To really get Kate’s look, you’d also need to pair the Lipsy dress with a pair of nude pumps – I’ve also recently updated my “Get Kate’s Style: L.K. Bennett Pumps” page with some new choices, perfect if you’re looking for a shoe cheaper than L.K. Bennett offers.
Have you found any replikates? PLEASE do share with us ladies in the comments section, cheers!
