Kate’s Corkswoon shoes have surged in popularity recently, as the Duchess wore the cork-heeled wedges on multiple occasions during the recent tour of Australia and New Zealand. Here we take a look at Kate wearing the wedges back in 2013 during a SportsAid event:
Now, as summertime draws closer and the better weather reaches the UK and USA, more and more ladies are clamouring after the wedges for themselves. Stuart Wetizman have capitalised on this by launching a new feature on their site, allowing shoppers to customise the colour and material of the wedge shoe themselves.
For a limited time, Stuart Weitzman are letting shoppers customise the Corkswoon, you can choose from 15 colours, including lots of brights, pastels and earthy nude tones. There are also two wedge materials to choose from, the standard cork (as Kate wears) or a new rope design.

You can even customise the width (and of course, choose your size). After you’ve finished designing your dream shoe, you can either save it on the site for later, or add it to the basket and preorder. You have to play you order before May 27th and your custom wedge will be delivered before the end of July. The shoe I made as a test cost $398. As far as I’m aware, this offer is only open to US shoppers.
