On June 13th, Kate joined other members of Royal Family at the annual Order of the Garter ceremony: This is the fifth time Kate has attended the event. (She attended the ceremony in 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2014. ) The traditional Garter Day ceremony takes place in Windsor each year. On Saturday June 13th, the Duchess of Cambridge conducted her first public engagement since the birth of Princess Charlotte - she attended the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London. Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated St. Patrick's Day by visiting the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, Hampshire.  You may recall that the Duke of Cambridge, William, was appointed Royal Colonel of the Irish Guards in February 2011. Day one, Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand: Sydney transfer and New Zealand welcome

On April 6th 2014, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the UK on on a scheduled Qantas flight for Australia, to kickstart the first part of the Royal Tour.  According to the Daily Mail, William and Kate booked out the entire First Class cabin. The family made a quick stop in Sydney Airport for a private transfer flight to New Zealand. On her final day in Canada, Duchess Kate attended a reception hosted by the Alberta Government at the ENMAX Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo before leaving the country and heading to the USA. During day three of William and Kate's north American tour, the royal duo concluded their visit to Ottawa by planting a tree at Rideu Hall. Visitors have been planting tress at Rideu Hall for over 100 years.  William's parents even planted a tree in grounds on his first birthday.
